A law firm seeks a mid-level Litigation Associate with 3-5 years of experience in California state and federal courts to join its office in Costa Mesa, Orange County. This role supports labor and employment as well as business litigation.

Duties

• Support labor and employment litigation, including single plaintiff and wage and hour class actions.
• Provide employment advice and counsel.
• Prepare and answer written discovery and manage electronic discovery.
• Engage in motion practice and take and defend depositions.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of litigation experience in California state and federal courts.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent writing skills.
• Public speaking skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Prior trial and big law experience preferred.
• Experience as a judicial clerk is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in California.

Skills
