Duties

• Manage a heavy litigation docket with a focus on trucking and motor vehicle accident cases.
• Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and jury trials.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and trial briefs.
• Develop legal strategies and oversee cases from intake to resolution.
• Collaborate with paralegals, litigation support, and other attorneys.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice in Texas, with preference for additional licensure in Florida or New York.
• 3-5+ years of litigation and trial experience in personal injury law.
• Proven success in motor vehicle accident and 18-wheeler litigation.
• Strong oral advocacy, negotiation, and trial skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Must be in good standing with the Texas Bar.
• Federal court licensure and appellate experience are a plus.

Skills

• First-chair jury trial experience preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
• Experience with multi-jurisdiction litigation is advantageous.
