Duties

• Draft written discovery and responses; review document productions and support eDiscovery workflows.
• Research and write motions, including discovery-related motions and pleading challenges.
• Prepare for and participate in hearings, such as CMC, ex parte, and discovery hearings.
• Attend and defend consumer client depositions; prepare outlines and exhibit sets.
• Partner with paralegals and litigation staff to keep cases organized and moving.
• Maintain strong calendaring and deadline discipline in a paperless environment.
• Travel within California as needed for hearings, depositions, and inspections.

Requirements

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• California Bar license in good standing.
• 1-3 years of litigation experience (0-1 considered for exceptional candidates).
• Strong writing, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Comfortable working in a paperless environment and adopting new tools.
• Spanish bilingual skills a plus (not required).
• Willingness to travel within California as needed.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• California Bar license.
