Compliance Advisor

The candidate will serve as a key contact for documenting and tracking compliance with various laws and regulations, including those around marketing claims, expenses, and product promotions. Conceive balanced solutions, weighing the needs of the business with compliance risk. Present to the business complex topics or requirements, demonstrating the ability to focus on root causes of issues, research multiple issues simultaneously, and write comprehensive and concise summaries of findings. Partner with sales and finance management to ensure adherence to broader finance and risk requirements such as revenue recognition, pricing, and discount policies. Work closely with legal counsel to ensure business aligns with industry best practices via audits and updates to documentation. Provide training to new hires and existing employees on compliance programs and policies. Ensure appropriate internal approvals are followed. Bachelor's Degree required. Paralegal or relevant professional experience in a law firm or corporate legal department setting is a plus. Should have 2-4 years of experience in compliance and/or paralegal work. Should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Should have demonstrated problem-solving and writing skills. Experience working in the medical device industry is a plus.
