Estate Planning Associate Attorney

Duties:
Draft estate planning documents, including revocable living trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and health care directives
Collaborate with senior attorneys on sophisticated income and estate tax strategies
Manage trust and probate administration matters
Guide clients through all phases of business entity formation and corporate upkeep
Provide counsel on corporate governance, entity structuring, tax compliance, and succession planning
Review and prepare business agreements and related legal documents
Conduct client meetings and manage related correspondence
Contribute to thought leadership through writing and editing content
Participate in business development activities, including professional networking with CPAs and financial advisors
Requirements:
Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of California
Minimum of 2 years of experience in estate planning and/or business law
Demonstrated ability to work directly with clients and senior counsel
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision
Commitment to delivering high-quality, client-centered legal services
High ethical standards and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Admission to the California Bar (active status)
Skills:
Exceptional legal drafting and analytical capabilities
Advanced research proficiency using Lexis, Westlaw, and related tools
Strong interpersonal communication and client engagement abilities
Solid organizational skills with an eye for detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and legal practice technologies
