Job Overview: A law firm seeks a dedicated Associate Attorney to join its Peachtree Corners, GA, team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of personal injury experience and be capable of handling pre-litigation and litigation cases, from a client's accident to settlement.

Duties:

• Work on pre-litigation and litigation cases, managing the process from a client's accident through settlement.
• Take party depositions, respond to discovery requests, negotiate settlements, edit demands, and perform other tasks related to personal injury cases.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and arguments.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and correspondence.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the cases.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in Georgia.
• 2-5 years of personal injury law experience, focusing on either Plaintiff or Defense work.
• Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures and processes.
• Experience conducting depositions, responding to discovery requests, and negotiating settlements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage a high caseload and work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar of Georgia.
