A law firm seeks an exceptional litigation attorney with 4 to 6 years of experience in Encino, CA. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload while collaborating with partners and associates on larger matters, thriving in the courtroom and eager to develop as a litigator.

Duties

• Manage all phases of civil litigation, including case evaluation and strategy development.
• Draft and argue motions, conduct and defend depositions, and manage written discovery.
• Prepare cases for trial and appear at court hearings and conferences.
• Communicate with opposing counsel and provide strategic counsel to clients.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda and briefs.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Four to six years of post-law school litigation experience in state and federal court.
• Extensive hands-on litigation experience, including depositions and trial work.
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills, excellent organizational abilities, and sound professional judgment.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership with the California State Bar.
