Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Mid- to Senior-Level Leverage Finance Associate for its Chicago, IL office. Candidates with experience in Houston, Dallas, and Charlotte are also considered. The role requires at least three years of substantive finance experience.

Duties

• Engage with a broad spectrum of bank and non-bank financial institutions.
• Participate in syndicated and club transactions.
• Focus on private credit sponsor acquisition financings.
• Contribute to structured finance, CLOs, and fund finance projects.
• Handle cash flow lending and sophisticated finance transactions.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of substantive finance experience.
• Strong deal experience at a large law firm preferred.
• Admittance to the state bar of the preferred office location.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• State bar admission in the preferred office location.

Skills

• Proficiency in handling complex finance transactions.
• Ability to work with diverse financial institutions.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
