Duties

• Independently manage a portfolio of employment-related litigation from inception to resolution

• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents

• Lead client communications and strategy discussions

• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, depositions, and court appearances

• Negotiate settlements and advocate for favorable client outcomes

• Maintain case deadlines and oversee case progression efficiently

• Collaborate with team members while maintaining ownership of assigned matters

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing employment litigation, preferably on the plaintiff side

• Strong ability to handle a full caseload with minimal supervision

• Excellent drafting and persuasive communication skills

• Demonstrated experience negotiating employment claims

• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a remote setting

• Prior experience managing client relationships with professionalism and empathy

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the state of California
