A law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Associate to join its team in San Diego, CA. The successful candidate will focus on defending automobile manufacturers, distributors, and dealers in warranty actions. Candidates must be local to San Diego and active members of the California Bar.

Duties

• Defend clients in warranty litigation cases.
• Prepare for trials and arbitrations, including motion practice and depositions.
• Engage in mediation and negotiation processes.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft legal documents.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation practice experience.
• Experience in trial/arbitration preparation and courtroom proceedings.
• Strong advocacy, research, writing, and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with a solid work ethic.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active member of the California Bar.
