A law firm seeks a Mid-to-Senior level Corporate Healthcare Transactional Associate Attorney for their Menlo Park, CA office.

Job Overview:

The candidate will advise dynamic healthcare clients in strategic transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, asset and equity acquisition transactions, venture capital and private equity investments, and joint venture transactions. Additionally, they will assist clients with corporate workflow including formations, capital raises, operational strategy, and contract negotiations.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel to healthcare clients in strategic transactions including mergers and acquisitions, asset and equity acquisition transactions, venture capital and private equity investments, and joint venture transactions.
• Assist clients with corporate and organizational workflow, including formations, capital raises, operational strategy, and contract negotiations.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to healthcare transactions.
• Communicate directly with clients and third-party advisors on a regular basis.
• Take ownership of projects and work effectively as a member of a team.

Requirements:

• Admission to the Bar in California.
• 4-6 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and/or private equity in the healthcare sector.
• Outstanding academic credentials from an accredited law school.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the Bar in California.

Skills:

• Excellent oral communication and writing skills.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Ability to take ownership of projects and work effectively in a team.
