Location:

Duties:

• Represent employers and insurance carriers in workers' compensation claims

• Manage a caseload involving litigation, depositions, discovery, and hearings

• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements

• Analyze medical records and employment documentation

• Advise clients on strategy and compliance with Georgia workers' compensation laws

• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in workers' compensation defense law

• Active license to practice law in the state of Georgia (required)

• Demonstrated ability to handle complex litigation matters

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Georgia (must be active and in good standing)

Skills:

• Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Proficiency in managing discovery and conducting depositions

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

• Strong organizational and case management skills
