Duties:

• Represent clients in various family law matters, including but not limited to divorce, child custody, child support, and spousal support.
• Manage caseloads, ensuring each case is handled with attention to detail and high levels of client service.
• Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients, offering strategic solutions tailored to their needs.
• Prepare legal documents such as petitions, motions, and discovery requests.
• Negotiate settlements and draft agreements for family law cases.
• Appear in court for hearings, trials, and other proceedings as required.
• Maintain and grow relationships with clients through effective communication and consistent results.
• Ensure compliance with all ethical and professional standards set by the state bar.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience practicing family law.
• Certified specialist in family law preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of California family law statutes and legal procedures.
• Proven experience in court appearances, litigation, and settlement negotiations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage a high volume of cases with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education:

• J.D. (Juris Doctor) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must have an active California Bar License.

Skills:

• Family law expertise, particularly in areas like divorce, child custody, and property division.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Client-focused approach with excellent interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in legal research, writing, and document preparation.
• Experience with case management software is beneficial.
