Duties

• Manage a variety of personal injury cases from initial client contact to resolution.
• Conduct depositions for witnesses, experts, and other parties.
• Prepare and present motions, respond to discovery requests, and perform legal research.
• Develop and oversee strategies for litigation and pre-litigation cases.
• Supervise paralegals involved in litigation and collaborate with different departments.
• Represent clients in arbitration hearings, brief trials, and jury trials.
• Offer guidance to the pre-litigation team to ensure cases are trial-ready, even if they settle.

Requirements

• JD and active Nevada Bar license.
• Strong writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Drive to grow, willingness to learn, and a passion for standing up for the injured.
• Previous experience in conducting depositions, arbitration proceedings, and drafting motions.
• Preference for candidates with past courtroom experience as lead counsel, especially in short or jury trials.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative legal setting.
• Familiarity with Workers' Comp cases is a bonus, although not mandatory.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and case management abilities.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active Nevada Bar license.
