Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly motivated Corporate Transactions Associate with four to six years of experience to join its M&A and Corporate Finance practice in Washington, D.C. The successful candidate will work on sophisticated M&A, leveraged buyouts, corporate governance, and complex commercial transactions.

Duties

• Engage in M&A and corporate finance transactions.
• Collaborate with clients, investment bankers, and advisors.
• Manage client engagements and multiple priorities.
• Coordinate with subject matter experts within the firm.

Requirements

• Four to six years of relevant experience.
• Experience in sophisticated law firm settings.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities.
• Interest or experience in ESOP M&A is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
