The candidate will counsel and represent clients on business matters including entity formation, acquisitions, joint ventures, reorganizations, buy-sell agreements, and general business and commercial contracts. Advise clients and businesses in framing their company policies and objectives. Assist businesses to prevent, navigate, and resolve complex legal issues and advise businesses on establishing their company’s structure, policies, objectives, and procedures for their business operations. Ensure all relevant laws and outcomes are understood and obeyed by businesses. Research and resolve legal disputes through the analysis of relevant laws, argument development, evidence collection, and legal representation. Draft, review, complete, and file legal paperwork related to client business operations. Negotiate contract terms, transactions, and settlements on behalf of the business involved. Ensure all client business processes, strategies, and actions complied with all relevant local, state, federal, and international laws. Manage multiple clients, cases, and legal activities that carry varying deadlines. Collaborate with clients and their advisors to develop strategies designed to meet specific goals. Business development, including professional organization involvement and writing. Supervise paralegals, staff, and team members as the role progresses.
