Duties:

• Advise clients on a wide range of corporate matters, including business formation, asset purchases, and corporate filings
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and corporate documents
• Provide strategic guidance to businesses on mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions
• Represent clients in corporate governance matters and assist in resolving legal issues within organizations
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism and attention to detail in all legal work
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality services
• Manage a diverse caseload while meeting client needs and firm expectations

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Vermont
• Experience in corporate law or a related field
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in business transactions, corporate filings, and asset purchases
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
• A collaborative mindset and ability to work well within a team environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Vermont State Bar
