Duties

• Defend developers, contractors, sub-contractors, and design professionals in construction defect and related insurance defense matters.
• Handle cases from start to finish, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, mediation, trial preparation, and trial.
• Develop strategies, work directly with clients, and be part of a team that values trust and initiative.

Requirements

• Licensed South Carolina attorney in good standing; North Carolina license is a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience in construction defect, general liability, or insurance defense.
• Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.
• A team-oriented mindset and a sense of humor.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD)

Certifications

• Licensed attorney in South Carolina
