Duties

• Manage caseload from inception to resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials.

• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda.
• Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates and reports.

Requirements

• 1 to 6 years of medical malpractice defense litigation experience.
• Clerkship experience is advantageous.
• Proficiency in drafting and arguing dispositive motions.
• Strong legal research and discovery response skills.
• Effective communication and prioritization skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to the Connecticut State Bar or eligible for admission with an adequate UBE score.
