Winter Technical Assistance Intern
The candidate will be training in the areas of international development and grant management, combining both private and public sector interests. Supporting the Technical Assistance (TA) team in the due diligence, execution and monitoring of TA grants that support DFC transactions. Reviewing TA proposals and budgets, researching various policy issues and development challenges in emerging markets, collaborating with DFC business lines, clients and other stakeholders in the evaluation of TA activities, preparing documentation to support the approval of proposed TA activities, reviewing deliverables of TA activities, supporting the monitoring and evaluation of TA activities, and performing other tasks for the team as needed. Interns work on tasks in any stage of the due diligence process for three to six TA activities, depending on the number of proposals that the TA team is involved in. Must be U.S. citizens enrolled part-time in an accredited college or university in a full- or part-time accredited advanced degree program (e.g. Master's, Juris Doctor, ****.
