Duties:

• Represent clients in litigation matters related to privacy and data security.
• Advise on compliance with US, EU, and APEC privacy laws and regulations.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on privacy and cyber-related issues.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Assist in developing strategies for data protection and privacy risk management.
• Work with clients to navigate government regulations and respond to regulatory inquiries.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external experts to address complex privacy and cyber matters.
• Stay current with evolving privacy laws and technology trends to provide informed legal advice.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in privacy and data security litigation.
• Experience with government regulations and policy enforcement related to privacy.
• Proficiency in US, EU, and APEC privacy laws and regulations.
• Strong aptitude for technology and understanding of how technologies work.
• Superior verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) is a plus.
