A prominent law firm located in Los Angeles, CA, is actively seeking a mid-level associate to join its dynamic litigation practice. This role presents a compelling opportunity for a legal professional with substantial experience in complex civil litigation to engage in high-stakes matters, including disputes related to financial restructuring and large-scale Chapter 11 proceedings. Duties:

• Handle all stages of civil litigation, including initial pleadings, motion practice, discovery, and pre-trial preparation

• Draft legal memoranda, motions, and court filings with a high level of precision and strategic focus

• Assist with complex trial preparation and courtroom proceedings

• Contribute to matters involving bankruptcy and financial restructuring litigation, including large Chapter 11 cases

• Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to develop a case strategy and resolve disputes efficiently

• Participate in client meetings, depositions, and settlement negotiations

• Support senior attorneys in high-value, fast-paced litigation matters

Requirements:

• 2-7 years of substantive litigation experience in a law firm or similar legal setting

• Demonstrated expertise in civil litigation processes and legal research

• Exposure to financial restructuring or bankruptcy litigation is preferred

• Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented legal environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Outstanding academic credentials required

Certifications:

• Active member in good standing with the California State Bar
