Job Overview:
A well-established law firm is seeking General Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of experience in business and general litigation. Qualified candidates will have experience in preparing for and arguing motions, as well as taking and defending depositions. Location:

Duties:

• Represent clients in general litigation matters, including business disputes and commercial cases.
• Prepare and argue motions in court.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Manage case files and ensure timely progression of litigation matters.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients.
• Collaborate with team members on complex legal issues.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide exceptional service.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in general litigation.
• Experience in business and commercial litigation is a plus.
• Proven ability to handle motions, depositions, and other litigation tasks.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage cases independently and work with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing of the California State Bar.

Certifications:

• California State Bar membership (required).
• Additional certifications or specialized training in litigation is a plus.

Skills:

• Strong litigation skills, with experience in motion practice and depositions.
• Excellent legal research and writing abilities.
