Job Overview:

A reputable law firm in Farmingdale, NY, is seeking a dedicated Insurance Defense Attorney to join its legal team. Duties:

• Manage a caseload of insurance defense and personal injury matters
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations
• Provide legal counsel and strategic recommendations to clients
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials
• Negotiate settlements and participate in trial preparations
• Stay current on legal developments and insurance defense strategies

Requirements:

• Experience in insurance defense or personal injury litigation
• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases independently and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in case management software and legal research tools

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar
