Location:

• Charleston, SC

Duties:

• Handle business litigation matters from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Represent clients in court, including hearings and depositions.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and dispute resolution efforts.
• Manage case files and maintain detailed documentation.
• Work collaboratively with senior attorneys and clients.
• Prepare and argue motions in both state and federal courts.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of litigation experience, preferably in business or commercial law.
• Licensed to practice law in South Carolina (SC Bar).
• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
• Strong communication and advocacy skills, both written and oral.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• South Carolina Bar License.

Skills:

• Solid understanding of business and commercial litigation.
• Excellent research, writing, and drafting skills.
• Strong legal analysis and problem-solving abilities.
• Courtroom experience and deposition skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
