Location:

• Grand Rapids, MI

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel to municipalities and public sector entities.

• Handle municipal law matters, including legal research, drafting, and representation in court.

• Work closely with senior attorneys and develop expertise in municipal law.

• Manage client relationships and assist in growing the firm's municipal law practice.

• Collaborate with a team on complex legal matters while also handling individual caseloads.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of legal experience.

• Strong desire to practice municipal law at a high level.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Michigan or eligibility for admission.

Skills:

• Knowledge of municipal law is preferred but not required.

• Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
