A leading international law firm is seeking a mid-level Antitrust Associate to support its expanding Antitrust and Competition Practice. The position involves high-level work in antitrust litigation and merger control matters, offering the opportunity to represent major corporate clients and engage with complex legal and regulatory issues. Ideal for associates in their 3rd to 5th years of practice who demonstrate strong legal skills, initiative, and a collaborative mindset.
Represent clients in antitrust litigation matters, including class actions, government investigations, and enforcement proceedings.
Advise on merger control issues, including Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) filings and multijurisdictional regulatory reviews.
Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, briefs, and regulatory submissions.
Support client counseling on antitrust compliance and risk management strategies.
Work collaboratively with cross-office teams to manage complex matters and support case strategy.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in antitrust litigation and/or merger control.
Demonstrated interest in competition law and regulatory frameworks.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
Eligible to practice law in the United States.
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school.
Active membership in good standing with the bar of the jurisdiction where the candidate will practice or reside.
Strong command of U.S. antitrust law, including the Sherman Act, Clayton Act, and FTC Act.
Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
Effective verbal and written communication with clients and internal legal teams.
High attention to detail, strategic thinking, and ability to contribute to team goals.
