Profile

A law firm in Sarasota is seeking an Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits Partner with expertise in defined benefit plans, defined contribution plans, 401k plans, and profit-sharing plans. The ideal candidate will have excellent drafting and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work within deadlines. The Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits Partner will be responsible for providing legal expertise in executive compensation and employee benefits matters. They will draft and review various plans and documents, communicate effectively with clients, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Duties:

• Provide legal advice and counsel on executive compensation and employee benefits matters.
• Draft and review documents related to defined benefit plans, defined contribution plans, 401k plans, and profit-sharing plans.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Work collaboratively with other attorneys and staff members.
• Manage client relationships and provide excellent client service.
• Develop and maintain a portable book of business.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Member of the Florida Bar or in the process of becoming one.
• 8+ years of experience practicing law in a law firm.
• Expertise in executive compensation and employee benefits matters.
• Excellent drafting and communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within deadlines.
• Portable book of business is highly preferred.
