Duties:

• Represent clients in all phases of workers’ compensation litigation, including hearings, depositions, trials, and appeals

• Analyze medical records and legal documents to prepare case strategies and recommendations

• Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and position statements

• Appear before administrative law judges and negotiate settlements on behalf of clients

• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to deliver strategic legal guidance

• Maintain regular communication with clients and ensure compliance with procedural deadlines

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of experience practicing workers’ compensation law in New York

• Licensed and admitted to practice in the state of New York

• Strong command of New York workers’ compensation statutes and case law

• Demonstrated ability to manage a full caseload independently in a fast-paced environment

• Effective interpersonal skills for client interaction and case negotiation

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar (active and in good standing)
