The candidate will be providing legal advice to management and staff within KEF in all legal aspects for the leasing and financing business, including its commercial vendor line of business. Drafting, reviewing and negotiating non-standard legal documentation with customers, vendors, and funders. Reviewing and negotiating program agreements with vendors. Performing legal research and providing summaries of findings required or as assigned. Continuous updating of legal standard documentation. Providing legal updates to co-workers regarding area of expertise as appropriate: Coordination and supervision of external lawyers; Developing and maintaining strong collaborative and collegial relationships with client and Law Department colleagues; Coordination of legal actions; Project management; Keeping informed of legislation, court cases and other decisions affecting assigned functional group; Assisting in legal training projects; and Other duties, special projects, and special reporting as assigned by the Assistant General Counsel.
