Duties

• Serve as legal advisor to planning commissions or other public bodies.
• Provide advice on compliance with the Brown Act, Public Records Act, and Political Reform Act.
• Draft ordinances and resolutions.
• Conduct contract reviews.
• Participate in planning commissions and other meetings.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience representing public agencies in transactional and advisory matters.
• Significant experience in land use and zoning laws, environmental regulation, or related areas.
• Service-oriented mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree.

Certifications

• License to practice law in California.
