Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Medical Devices and Life Sciences Attorney to join its Healthcare & Insurance Division in Dallas, TX. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape a practice within a diverse range of transactional and regulatory matters, providing a robust platform for professional growth.

Duties

  • Draft and negotiate pharmaceutical and medical device development, marketing, clinical trial, distribution, and supply agreements.
  • Develop, update, and conduct training on corporate compliance programs for drug and medical device manufacturers.
  • Provide expertise in medical device distribution and durable medical equipment licensing and reimbursement issues.
  • Advise clients on FDA requirements, including medical device reporting, 510(k) submissions, Pre-Market Approval, Investigational Device Exemptions, and product labeling.

Requirements

  • Minimum of seven years of relevant experience in healthcare and life sciences law.
  • Excellent academic credentials and strong research, writing, analytical, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Active license in the applicable jurisdiction or eligibility to waive into practice.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active legal license in the applicable jurisdiction.

Skills

  • Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
  • Proficiency in regulatory compliance and FDA requirements.
  • Ability to manage complex legal matters independently.
