Duties:

  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement estate plans and administer trusts.
  • Monitor and manage legal deadlines to ensure compliance with filing requirements.
  • Partner with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to achieve client goals.
  • Negotiate and advocate on behalf of clients during legal proceedings.
  • Conduct thorough legal research using Lexis-Nexis and other resources.
  • Draft contracts, pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Provide legal advisory services and courtroom representation as needed.
  • Attend client meetings and participate in legal conferences.
  • Perform administrative legal tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in California.
  • Minimum of 3 years of legal experience, with a focus on estate planning and trust administration.
  • Experience in business law (preferred).
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with cloud-based software and legal research databases.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in California.
