Job Overview: A well-regarded civil litigation law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 0 to 5 years of experience to join its team. This full-time position, based in Warwick, RI, offers an exciting opportunity for an attorney to work on a wide range of cases in both state and federal courts. The ideal candidate will be licensed in Rhode Island (Massachusetts license is a plus), possess strong research, writing, and advocacy skills, and be self-motivated and organized. This position provides the opportunity to manage a caseload independently while collaborating with experienced attorneys on diverse matters.

Location:

• Warwick, RI

Duties:

• Manage an independent caseload, handling various civil litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Handle motions for senior attorneys and assist with case strategy.
• Represent clients in state and federal courts.
• Collaborate with attorneys on complex litigation matters and case preparation.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and provide case updates.
• Participate in discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.

Requirements:

• 0 to 5 years of experience in civil litigation.
• Licensed to practice law in Rhode Island (Massachusetts license is a plus).
• Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently and efficiently.
• Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Strong communication and client management skills.

Education:

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Rhode Island (Massachusetts license is a plus).

Skills:
