A full-service law firm based in Toledo, Ohio is seeking a Family Law Attorney to join its expanding legal team. This position is ideal for a driven attorney looking to handle a diverse and high-volume caseload in family law, including matters such as divorce, custody, and support. The role involves client strategy sessions, drafting pleadings, courtroom appearances, and working collaboratively with support staff in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Location:

• Toledo, Ohio

Duties:

• Conduct client strategy sessions to assess case facts and develop personalized legal plans

• Draft legal documents including petitions, responses, declarations, affidavits, parenting plans, child support orders, and trial briefs

• Represent clients in hearings, trials, mediations, and settlement conferences

• Communicate legal strategies and updates clearly to clients at key stages

• Prepare clients for court appearances and trials

• Work with support staff to ensure timely case progression and excellent client service

• Maintain high standards of professionalism and confidentiality

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Ohio

• Should have 0-20 years of experience

• Comfortable managing a high-volume caseload

• Demonstrated organizational skills and time management

• Willingness to learn and use case management software (experience with Clio preferred)

• Strong ethical standards, accountability, and client empathy

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the Ohio State Bar

Skills:

• Family law litigation and legal drafting
