Steve Fredrickson Fellowship
Fellow will spend 10 weeks this summer at NJP working on important and exciting advocacy work in the field of housing or other consumer issues. The student will work with attorneys on ongoing cases and projects that continue to honor Steve Fredrickson. The Fellowship is open to any law student who will have completed at least the first year of law school as of June, 2020. Rule 9 eligibility is not required. Should have strong communication, research and analytical skills, including excellent writing ability; a demonstrated commitment to social justice advocacy, with specific interest in work that addresses the fulfillment of basic human needs; cultural competence and appreciation for diversity and inclusion, racial equity and access to justice. This Fellowship location is still to be determined.
The Fellowship stipend is $6000 for 10 weeks.
