Job Overview:
A prominent Las Vegas, NV law firm is seeking an experienced Business Law Attorney to join its dynamic team. This role is focused on providing comprehensive legal services in business transactional law and litigation, including assisting clients with acquisitions, entity structuring, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in drafting and negotiating a wide range of business-related agreements and offering strategic legal counsel for corporate clients.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel on business transactions, entity selection, tax matters, partnership agreements, and employment law issues.
• Assist with business acquisitions, sales, and asset transfers, including succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and manage the process of securing necessary approvals.
• Draft, review, and negotiate various business-related legal documents, including:
  • Employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, service agreements, and joint venture agreements.
  • Buy/sell agreements, stockholder agreements, and management agreements.
• Advise and assist clients with real estate transactions, including the negotiation, structuring, and review of commercial and residential leases.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in business law, estate planning, and asset protection.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a keen ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Education:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications (Preferred):

• CPA or LL.M. in taxation or equivalent relevant experience is a plus.

Skills:

• Expertise in business law, transactional matters, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong negotiation and drafting skills, particularly in business and real estate contracts.
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with clients and colleagues.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
