A law firm in Sarasota is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 10+ years of experience to counsel clients on renewables projects, with a focus on facilities operations and power purchase agreements. The ideal candidate should have robust renewables experience and a portable book of business.

Duties:

• Counsel clients on various renewables projects, emphasizing facilities operations and power purchase agreements.
• Provide legal advice and representation in litigation matters related to renewables projects.
• Handle all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, motions, discovery, hearings, and trials.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on renewables-related legal issues.
• Negotiate and draft contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to renewables projects.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience as a Litigation Attorney.
• Robust renewables experience, preferably with knowledge of wind, solar, hydroelectric, and fuel cell facilities, smart grid and energy storage, and energy efficiency and demand-side management.
• Portable book of business.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing of the Bar.
