Job Overview:
A nationally recognized law firm is seeking an experienced eDiscovery Attorney to join its eDiscovery and Information Management team. This full-time, non-partnership track position involves high-level responsibility over complex litigation matters, from managing review protocols to coordinating with legal teams and vendors. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM), excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

  • Manage eDiscovery processes in complex litigation matters

  • Draft and negotiate discovery-related protocols, orders, and agreements

  • Supervise eDiscovery workflows including document review and quality control processes

  • Coordinate with clients, case teams, and third-party vendors for data collection and review

  • Monitor and forecast project budgets, manage billing, and perform monthly invoice reviews

  • Oversee document productions and ensure timely delivery of all phases of discovery

  • Provide training and guidance to review attorneys

  • Maintain communication with case teams and clients to update on project status and execution

  • Serve as the point of contact for eDiscovery strategy and implementation

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of eDiscovery experience in a law firm, in-house legal department, or government

  • Strong familiarity with all phases of the EDRM lifecycle

  • Ability to manage complex projects, competing deadlines, and cross-functional teams

  • Strong judgment and leadership capabilities in high-pressure legal environments

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) or LL.M. from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction in which you are applying

  • Must be in good standing with the state bar

Skills:

  • Exceptional legal writing, analysis, and communication skills

  • Strong project management and organizational abilities

  • Proficiency with discovery software and litigation support tools

  • Effective team collaboration and leadership

  • Ability to influence others and communicate persuasively

  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills

  • Comfortable working in a hybrid legal/technical environment
