Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 0-5 years of experience in estate planning and estate and trust administration to join its Estate and Succession Planning Group. This position provides an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated estate plans, family business succession plans, large estate and trust administrations, tax controversies, and estate and trust litigation. The role is client-focused and involves collaboration with a team of experienced attorneys.

Location:

• Naples, FL

Duties:

• Meet with clients to assess estate planning needs, understand goals, and provide legal advice.
• Draft legal documents such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney tailored to clients’ circumstances.
• Provide guidance on minimizing tax implications, including estate and gift taxes.
• Conduct legal research to ensure compliance with current laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with attorneys in related practice areas, including tax and real estate law, to provide comprehensive services.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and address inquiries.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Florida.
• LL.M. in Taxation or significant coursework/experience in tax law.
• Excellent drafting, oral, and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a legal team.
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• LL.M. in Taxation preferred.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Florida.
