A respected full-service litigation firm in the Los Angeles Area is seeking a Trial Attorney to join its growing litigation group. This role is ideal for an attorney who thrives in the courtroom and has a passion for representing individuals and businesses in high-stakes civil litigation. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing complex cases and handling all aspects of trial preparation and execution.

Location:

• Los Angeles, CA

Duties:

• Represent clients in various litigation matters including employment & labor, transportation, construction, personal injury, retail, and general liability

• Develop and implement litigation strategies across all phases of trial

• Manage case files from inception through resolution

• Conduct and defend depositions

• Prepare and argue motions in court

• Handle trial responsibilities including voir dire, witness examination, and delivering opening/closing statements

• Participate in discovery, pre-trial conferences, mediations, and settlement negotiations

• Communicate regularly with clients to provide case updates and strategic advice

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation

• Experience in either first-chair or second-chair trial work preferred

• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently

• Strong understanding of California civil procedure and trial practice

• Proven experience with motion practice and depositions

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the state of California

Skills:

• Excellent oral and written advocacy

• Strong legal research and analytical abilities

• Effective negotiation and mediation skills

• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with legal support staff and clients
