The candidate should have Virginia State Bar membership; 2-6 years of relevant experience, preferably in medical malpractice, insurance defense, or personal injury litigation; experience with a motions practice, taking and defending depositions, and superior legal analysis and writing ability required. District of Columbia Bar membership required or expected after hire. Judicial clerkships are a plus.
