A law firm seeks a committed and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join their Wilmington, NC office, supporting the North Carolina Foreclosure division. This role focuses on document execution, title review, and hearing coverage, providing critical support to maintain consistency and efficiency in foreclosure operations.

Duties

• Review and execute foreclosure-related legal documents with accuracy.
• Conduct thorough title reviews and identify curative actions needed.
• Represent clients at foreclosure hearings and other court proceedings throughout North Carolina.
• Collaborate with paralegals, support staff, and other attorneys to ensure efficient file progression.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory standards.
• Provide legal advice and support to clients and internal teams as needed.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in North Carolina, in good standing.
• 0-3+ years of relevant experience in foreclosure, real estate, or civil litigation preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment.
• Courtroom experience and confidence in oral advocacy a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in North Carolina.
