A law firm seeks a Senior Consumer Finance Associate for their Financial Regulatory & Compliance Practice in Dallas, TX. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients across various industries.

Duties

• Advise clients on financial services regulatory and compliance matters.
• Handle issues related to mortgage lending, consumer finance, and commercial finance.
• Develop and implement compliance strategies for alternative lending products.
• Collaborate with clients on state licensing and product development.
• Engage in enforcement actions and manage bank partnership models.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in financial services regulation.
• Proficiency in key financial services laws and regulations.
• Experience with money services businesses and payment systems is preferred.
• Strong commitment to client service and team collaboration.
• Admission to or eligibility for admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
