Job Overview:
A prominent law firm based in Denver, CO, is seeking a skilled mid-level associate attorney to support its dynamic real estate group. The successful candidate will work on a wide range of commercial property transactions, with particular focus on structured real estate financing. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney aiming to broaden their exposure to both borrower- and lender-side matters while building a sustainable path to partnership within a collaborative and nationally recognized practice.

Duties:

• Advise on real estate financing transactions, including mortgage and mezzanine loans

• Represent institutional lenders and borrowers in complex real estate deals

• Draft and negotiate loan documents, term sheets, and related agreements

• Conduct and manage due diligence related to property acquisitions and financings

• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders across multiple offices

• Engage directly with clients and manage key aspects of transactions from inception to closing

• Provide strategic input to clients on structuring and risk management

• Maintain thorough records of deal activity and timelines

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of relevant legal experience, with a concentration in real estate finance

• Prior experience with major law firms or sophisticated real estate practices is strongly preferred

• Demonstrated ability to manage deals independently and collaborate effectively with clients

• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing complex legal documents

• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

• Eligibility for admission to the Colorado Bar if not currently licensed in Colorado

Skills:
