Duties

• Independently manage complex commercial litigation cases from start to finish.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research to inform strategic decisions.
• Draft and prepare essential litigation documents, including pleadings and motions.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials and appeals.
• Conduct and participate in depositions.
• Maintain effective communication with courts, clients, and opposing counsel.
• Stay updated on legal developments and industry trends.

Requirements

• Bar admission in New York; eligible to waive into New Jersey.
• 5+ years of commercial litigation experience in a sophisticated legal environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management software.
• Knowledge of e-discovery and electronic documentation management.
• Self-motivated with strong critical-thinking skills.
• Strong commercial/business acumen.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and writing skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
