Mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm is seeking a Mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney for their West Palm Beach, FL office. The Mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney will primarily service the nationwide Higher Education practice. Previous experience in Higher Education is a plus. The ideal candidate should have a strong desire to learn and specialize in the Higher Education practice area. Exceptional research, writing, and communication skills are essential. Bar admission is required for the jurisdiction of practice.

Duties:

• Service the nationwide Higher Education practice
• Handle commercial litigation matters with a focus on Higher Education
• Conduct legal research
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and third parties
• Participate in case strategy discussions
• Assist with trial preparation
• Attend hearings and court proceedings

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice
• 4-6 years of commercial litigation experience with a focus on Higher Education

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice
