Job Overview
A prominent law firm with over four decades of exclusive immigration law practice is seeking a full-time Immigration Attorney for its San Francisco office. Location

Duties

• Represent clients in family-based and/or employment-based immigration matters

• Prepare legal documents including petitions, applications, and briefs

• Communicate with clients, USCIS, and other government agencies

• Maintain and manage individual caseload

• Supervise and guide legal support staff

• Participate in strategy meetings and collaborate with legal team on complex cases

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in immigration law (preferred but not required)

• Strong interest in family and employment-based immigration practice

• Demonstrated commitment to immigration law and advocacy

• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently

• Strong interpersonal and client communication skills

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active membership in good standing with a State Bar (California Bar preferred but not required)

Skills

• Excellent legal writing and research abilities

• Effective case management and organizational skills

• Ability to supervise legal support staff

• Professional and empathetic client communication

• Proficiency with legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite
