Job Overview:
A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a highly qualified Associate Attorney to join its Corporate Department, focusing on employment and labor law matters. This position can be based in Dallas or any of the firm’s U.S. office locations. The role involves advising corporate clients on a wide range of employment law issues, including compliance, contracts, and due diligence. The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of experience at a top-tier law firm and a proven ability to handle complex employment matters in both advisory and transactional contexts.

Duties:
Advise clients on employment compliance including:
Worker classification
Wage and hour laws
Immigration matters
Union and collective bargaining issues
Equal opportunity laws
Employment policies and handbooks
Draft and review:
Employment agreements
Separation agreements
Restrictive covenants (e.g., non-compete, non-solicitation)
Counsel clients on reductions-in-force and WARN Act obligations
Conduct employment-related due diligence for corporate transactions
Draft and advise on employment-related representations and covenants in transaction documents
Requirements:
5–7 years of employment law experience at a nationally recognized law firm
Strong understanding of employment law compliance and regulatory frameworks
Experience advising clients in both advisory and transactional settings
Ability to manage a busy workload and respond to complex client demands
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
Certifications:
Active bar membership in good standing, or eligibility to waive into the jurisdiction of the office where the attorney will be based
Skills:
Excellent legal research, drafting, and analytical skills
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
High attention to detail and organizational proficiency
Team-oriented with a client-focused mindset
Capable of handling high-level responsibilities independently and collaboratively
