Job Overview: A prominent law firm is seeking a seasoned Insurance Coverage Attorney to join its expanding insurance practice. This role is designed for a highly experienced attorney with 7+ years of experience in handling third-party liability insurance coverage matters, both contentious and non-contentious. The position offers flexibility in terms of work location, either based in Nashville or remotely from any jurisdiction in the Eastern or Central time zones. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in litigation, excellent case management skills, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Duties:

• Manage and support insurance coverage matters with a focus on third-party liability.
• Handle all stages of litigation, including case preparation, trial proceedings, and post-trial matters.
• Conduct legal research, analysis, and drafting of legal documents.
• Present complex legal arguments effectively and with clarity in various forums.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Participate in business development efforts and contribute to firm growth.
• Travel as needed for client meetings, court appearances, and other legal proceedings.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of post-qualification legal experience in insurance coverage.
• Extensive experience in litigation, including handling trials and other legal proceedings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal concepts.
• Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
• Exceptional case management skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Tennessee.

Skills:
